Inspiring Black Males Towards "Peace On The Streets", Supporting Each Other, Self Fulfillment and Building For The Future!

The Film

This film is currently being shot in high definition at a rate of 30fps at 1090 x 1920 and composed in a 16:9 frame. The total running time will be approximately sixty minutes for the television program and ninety minutes for the film. There are two versions. There are two media projects, a number of music videos and one book that will be emanated from this campaign and shared nationally and internationally. We plan on touring the film after the broadcast run.

The film will be used to inspire, teach and inform all who are not exposed with the problem. We hope to reach millions of viewers who will surely be enthralled with the images and wisdom that the professionals will deliver. The information will give incite as to the state of young Black males in the country and what they are going through in terms of what the infrastructure has set up for them. It will dove into the psychological ramifications of years of racism, educational deprivation, negative elements that have been pumped into the communities and have made a monumental impact and the institutionalized under appreciation for the talent and resources that these individuals possess.

The film will explore the world of parolees and how crime and prison is affecting them from their perspective. We will hear about some of the lessons that they have learned and how there current position has made them come to alternate realities from their initial exposure to the streets and crime. One of the most compelling testimonials will be from of the parolees and bangers who have realized and understood the error of their ways and have made drastic changes in their lives for the better. Some of them have become more spiritually astute and have taken on the role of spreading the word to other offenders in hopes that they can also make that transition. Some of the parolees have regretted the loss of time that they have incurred in their lives as their children have grown, parents have passed on and family are now inaccessible because of their incarceration. The most significant example of hope is expressed by the change of attitude and new direction of life.

This film will keep you intrigued and will quench your inquisitive mind as it educates you on the new generation of youngsters who march to a different drummer. The film will show you how the current occupy movement relates to the marches in the past and how Black people have consistently expressed the disparity of their corporate participation for years.

This is a film that is truly one of the GRASS ROOTS efforts of independent filmmaking and it is currently implemented on a wing and a prayer. The truth is all there is and this film will tell the truth and will rattle the nerves of those who consistently feel that they have no stake, or blame in the self-destruction of the young Black youth. On another note, it will act as a template for betterment is societies all over the world that have an oppressed group of people that have struggled so long to achieve that sometimes they loose site of the prize and they too struggle with self destruction.
Make sure that you are not only a part of this project getting done, but you are a street soldier helping the promotion and public awareness. Finally, there is a film that will address the subject of the endangered species of the Black male.
